In 2003 he opened his very first shop in his hometown of USA and very quickly gained a reputation for doing things a little differently and pretty soon people flocked from far and wide to take a seat in what became known as the “BABA’S HOUSE”, Happy but not content in his work, Johnny wanted to be bigger, and he spotted a gap in the USA market and with the men’s grooming revolution firmly underway he opened the first Barber Barber in Barton Arcade, Manchester in 2013.

Meet Alex, the Old School Master Barber we call “The BOSS”, he possesses more than 19 years’ experience in Old School Barbering. He thinks everybody is his brother, hence the famous greeting “Aw Brooo”. Ex-Chef, Ex-Military Sniper, Ex-Barman, Antonio picked up his grandfather’s trade and followed his footsteps in becoming Malta’s most notorious and respected Barber.
Ernie
Meet Ernie, our Albanian Old School Barber from Elbasan. He is the latest addition to the squad carrying over than 5 years’ experience in barbering. 💈 His addiction is running and long walks with friends and is now ready to discover Malta’s beautiful outdoors.
Thao
Meet Thao, our latest addition to the Balzan Team! 💈Just 20 years of age, with over 5 years experience in barbering. He really enjoys watching ⚽ football, is an ace in billiard and an amazing cook! 🥘 He is ready to welcome you and get you #alwayslookinsharp
